One of the things I like most about visiting model railway shows is the opportunity to check out new releases on the book traders stands, some of which have often escaped your attention at release point…
Yesterday’s visit to Railex in Aylesbury was a case in point, and I ended up walking away with this little collection for the OTCM library:
An initial flick through has shown them all to be full of atmospheric inspiration, and I am pleased to have grabbed copies early on as they are bound to fly of the shelves faster than the latest instalment of 50 Shades!
Unfortunately the few photos I took at Railex didn’t come out very well, so there will be no photo review, but it was up to its usual high standards and well worth the treck to get there, even if a couple of traders were missing (what happened to RT models 😦 ). Needless to say, it was great to see Wibdenshaw for only the second time, before it heads off for a new life in Spain, and Aylesbury (LNWR) stood out for its quality defying it’s age.
Until next Time.
