After a lot of nagging from various sources I filmed myself rambling about the new layout and posted it on YouTube. It won’t be at any detriment to the blog, just my personal pride.

Come along on my knitting adventures!
I was the fool who ‘unliked’ the video less than 15minutes after you uploaded it – complete error (fat thumbs). Great to see this; inspiring work.
Thank you and no worries about the unlike! Happy modelling, Oly
Can I ask a couple of questions about the layout:
1. Did you build a framework or use wood sheet?
2. Is there a particular hanging basket liner to use (jute?) and did you paint it?
Great to see the new layout… mind shame it’s got such a low back scene. Some neat ideas. It would be great to see a bit more of it…
Thanks James, the backscene is cynically designed to be low enough so that when I’m working on teams the angle is right you cannot see it, to my colleagues it looks like a long shelf in a white room! Not sure why i went so incognito. At the time I thought it easier than on every call having someone say ‘why you got grey stripe on your wall?’!! I’m going to do a follow up blog post and maybe a video around operating it using the waybills.
Thanks for doing the video, i enjoyed it and hope you do more.
I’m interested in how you have taken the US waybill/ shunting spot idea and adapted it.
I’ve working on a shunting plank and am pondering using this US idea to add to the operating potential of a very small layout.
So would like to hear what you have done.
Best Wishes
David
Love it! Got me thinking now…,
